Welcome to a collection of small works that are largely derived from my love of collage. Here you will find original paper collages, individual wall decals, wall decal collages and limited edition prints.

It started with Bay Area photographer and printer Rob Reiter printing small versions of the photos he was taking of my original drawings as a way to measure the quality and accuracy of the photography. At first I saved them in a flat file drawer but as they accumulated it led me to seeing them as a resource and then to making small collages. Using my own artwork gave me the license I needed to fully explore collage and it has become a process integral to my practice. It gives me a way to continue to explore with the creatures and imagery I have spent hours getting to know through drawing. The collages here are constructed from archival inkjet prints and re-positionable wall decal fabric. I hand cut the individual animals, plants and wood grain patterns and play with different groupings, invert, repeat and embellish them to explore new relationships and create new stories.

I call them Reconfigurations.
